Age, Vasectomy and Pregnancy?

I am 52, my partner is 55. He had a vasectomy 25 years ago, but never went for tests afterwards. Because of my age and the fact that he had the operation made me pretty sure I could not get pregnant. I am having symptoms of pregnancy....could it be the onset of menopause and what are the chances of me actually being pregnant....has anyone been in my situation?
