A few questions about EpicBot for Runescape.?

I recently ran out of thing to do in my spare time so I decided to give runescape a try after a few years. I have never used bots before and I was told that EpicBot was the best free bot available now. I just downloaded it a few hours ago and have yet to get to use it because it says that its incompatible with the current version of runescape and its being updated. How long does this usually take? and also for some of the prolonged botters, Is this a good bot and if not what are some better FREE ones?
