Do I invite them to the wedding or not?

I'm getting married in the Spring. I want to invite my co-worker, but I don't like his wife. We all three went to school together and there were many times that she was very rude and condescending towards me. I really want to invite my co-worker, but the thought of her coming with him is overwhelming. This is my day and I don't want it ruined. The wedding is going to be small (50 people) mostly family and friends. I have known my co-worker for about three years and he is like a brother to me! (Not to mention that he invited me to his wedding!) She is very offensive, loud, and rude. What do I do?
