How to know when to lose my virginity? Is 19 old enough?

i was a virgin til i was 19. i lost it to my current boyfriend. because i was a virgin at 19 i was tempted to sleep with a guy i met at a bar and hooked up for a couple of times but then i decided not to which im glad i didnt cause he turned out to be a total . and i'm glad i didnt just give it to anyone. i dont regret losing it to my boyfriend and he was also my best friend before we started dating so it meant something too. but its all your choice, if you feel comfortable enough with this guy then go ahead and sleep with him, but make sure you're not gonna regret it in the long run. i dont think losing your virginity is something you can rush and its something you've got to be careful with cause it kinda is a big deal. but dont be embarred to be a virgin at 19. i have a friend who is 20 and is still a virgin and never had a boyfriend and i know a girl who didnt lose her virginity til she was 23 because she just wasnt ready. and i think when you do meet someone and you really care about them and are ready to sleep with them, it will matter to them and it may make you regret your decision of sleeping with this guy you're not even attracted to even more. there is no harm in waiting til you find the right person.
