If you are still on an antiviral it means you are in the initial stage (acute) stage of shingles. If you are not on prednisone you should be and this has been shown to reduce the pain. If the pain is bad you may need an opiate short term such as Percocet or Tylenol #3. Neurontin or Lyrica are mainly for the later pain that may come (postherpetic neuralgia) but may also help now. There also may be some topical lotions to use. You really need to speak to your doctor about the options.

How did you get into photography?

For Xmas one year in the seventies I got a box set of branded toys based around The Professionals TV show. The TV show was about two government agents solving crime. Along with plastic handcuffs and cap gun there was a 35mm camera (for surveillance). Generally with a camera during daylight outside you can just point it and take a photo, with modern digital cameras you can just set it to auto and point it anywhere and at anytime and it'll take a perfect photo. If you want to learn all the technical ins and outs of exposure and that buy a basic 1960s 35mm SLR film camera, because lets face it with a modern digital you just don't need to know anymore. At best on a digital you'd want to use Aperture Priority to control your depth of field but that's about it.

Infection above my front left tooth?

I have an infection that covers the top half of the gum above my front left tooth. I had root cs on my two front teeth because the nerves were dead. The root cs were about 5 years ago, the injury that killed the nerves was 11 years ago (I shoved my 2 front teeth up through my gums and into some bone I think, I fell off a pogo-stick teeth first). There is practically no pain and only discomfort when I press on the infection area. I know it's an infection because puss has come out a few times now. Bucknell and Colgate sound like perfect fits. Gorgeous campuses and in the highly prestigious Patriot League with Division 1 sports. Great social life and alumni support. Only downside is that both are quite rural and remote. May want to look at another Patriot League College like Holy Cross which is less than an hour to Boston or American which is located in a nice section of Washington, DC.

I know that mine all fussed when they were younger as they were nice and warm before the diaper came off. I don't think this can be true because my 3 and half month old baby girl has been crying and fussing all day for no reason at all. I did all the basics like change her diaper, feed her, burp her, and make sure she is clean. I tried singing to her, rocking her, talking to her, playing with her, just letting her be in her swing because I thought maybe I was overstimulating her. I just can't think of anything else to do. What is going on with my b drum? (kick drum)?

i just bought a brand new gretsch catlalina club shell pack. the b drum is 22"x20". i bought an evans emad II batter head and kept the gretsch reso head. i cut out 2 port holes in the reso bcz it was a solid head. i always tune by ear and ive nvr had a problem with it on my other drums or drum kits. but for sum reason on this new b, the sound is really quiet. im comparing it to my 20"x18" caca poopoo starter set with an aquarian kick II batter and reso which is much louder. with the giant size of this b i wouldve umed i was gonna b hearin machine gun blasts. but no, the sound is drown out by the cymbals and other drums. it sounds ok wen i mic it but just straight acoustically its weak. is there sumthin wrong with how i tuned it or is the evans emad II a quiet head or am i jus shyte outta luck?

Rats in the bird shop HELP!!!!?

I volunteer for a non profit parrot rescue that has a serious mouse infestation. There are 2 sides to the building and on one side, we are tearing down the drywall (which has numerous holes in it) to limit the places they can hide. Why does my AM radio signal suffer in the downtown core of the city I live in?

Because the signal gets blocked by the buildings. AM signals are direct "line of site" signals. That means you have to be in direct line with the station's radio towers to receive the signal. The static you hear when you are downtown is probably from some other type of transmitter that you are picking up through your radio. With radios that are not shielded very well you can hear engine noise through the radio.

Hello. In my country high school basically makes your future. The best one is the American College, because you get an American diploma. The test looks alot like the SSAT. you have 1 part reading comprehension, 3 parts math and 1 part essay. I'm very good at math, have some awards at competions this year, but make very stupid mistakes(i go to this course were they give us tests). Can you tell me how i can concentrate some more? I have to ask this question because it just happened at the job I work for. A lady that works there told me that her daughter was coming to work the following day. The next day, I was asking her about the daughter because I mistakenly thought this other girl was her, and she told me that they wouldn't hire her because she was in the Reserves, and it was likely she would be going to Iraq, and that someone else who really needed a job could get this job. Will anything happen to an aggressive driver if I call police?

This morning as I was driving to work everybody in front of me was goin slow. So I decided to switch over to my right lane, but so did the driver behind me. I realize this when I am half way in the right lane half way in the left so was she. Mind you it was a young girl. I guess she must have thought I cut her off or something. Anyways I said let me get away and I switched back to my left, so did she. Same thing happened, I was half and half in both lanes. So I just went back to my right, doing everything I can to get away. But I see her swerve and speed off in another lane. I thought to myself she will go in front of me and press the brakes. Well she did. So pressed the brakes so I wouldnt hit her. But she then gets off the car and goes to my window and curses me out and just goes off for a w hile. I just told her you are crazy and went to the other lane. She then got in her car and sped off. Thats when I called the police and gave them her tag number. So do you think the police will do something? Or is there something I can do to make sure they do do something. I live in Miami, number one capital of agressive driver.

I love singing and has taken up vocal lessons for about half a year. I know the proper way of singing. But recently, like 2 months back, I had a seriously bad flu and sore throat. Recently this 1 week, my vocal seems to be feeling very tired and at times, seems hard just to project my voice out for speaking. I am over week, have taken four pregnancy tests and all are showing up negative. Could I be pregnant?

I am now over a week late. I am never late; my periods are like clockwork. But, according to four pregnancy tests taken since I missed my period, I am not pregnant. I did take 2000mg of Zithromax for an infection a little over a week ago and am under a good bit of stress, but antiobiotics and stress have never affected my cycle before. I have two beautiful girls, both who were conceived the first month we tried. I also got a positive pregnancy test on both of them three to four days before I missed my period. My husband and I practice natural family planning. The hormones in birth control mess me up and the latex in condoms give me awful UTIs. In answer to your question, neither. Yes, you can switch between the two, but not in the same sense as the laptops with switchable graphics. Most Laptops allow switching in real time, whereas the desktop motherboard will require a settings change in the BIOS.

Go to Carpathian Mountains, it is in the Western Ukraine. The main town is Ivano-Frankivsk, you can take a bus trip to Yaremche, where you can hike in the beautiful mountains, see gorgeous lakes and creeks. People are friendly, but don't speak English, so learn a few useful frases in Ukrainian. The culture is slightly different from Eastern Ukraine, you'll see a lot of hand-made goods, which are absolutely unique to this region.

Well, I have an uncle who has cancer, 40-ish. He was somewhat evil towards me, in earlier postings you can see they are most about his behavior. He would always cook for the holidays, but would make me feel unwelcome, or go off on me if I fixed a plate. Well now he has some sort of cancer, and I feel really bad for him, but we've always had riff between each other. He's closer to my sister than me, and that has always made me feel bad. That he has something against me for no reason. When my sister had her second child, he came to the hospital to see her. When I had my first, he wasn't there. When I had my second, I was completely alone with the exception of my mother. To make a long story short, I was in the hospital for 2 weeks after delivering my second son early, and my son died in childbirth. I almost died in childbirth from losing a lot of blood. They wouldn't even let my mom in the room with me, after she got dressed in scrubs. During that whole time, my dad didn't call me once, my stepmom didn't call, my uncle didn't call. The only person who was there was my sister, my mom, my baby, and my baby's paternal grandma that wasn't even related to this baby. I was completely hurt that my own dad didn't call or show up, no card no nothing, and same for my uncle. Now he was in the hospital. I didn't call him or visit him, but I did send out a short text telling him to stay in good spirits, and that I loved him. Was I wrong, or is my actions justified?

Can the judge make me give her the car back even though it's my car in my name? She plans on saying that I stole her title, keys, and car. Meanwhile, I always had the title and the keys.
